International city

International City is a Nakheel residential area next to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road. It consists of 10 clusters named after countries – England, Emirates, Russia, Italy, Spain, France, Persia, Greece, Morocco and China – with buildings in each designed in the style of its country. At the centre is a business quarter, and the area has two Dragon Mart malls.

According to Nakheel, the area has more than 22,000 apartments, among them studios and 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. Residents have sports facilities, communal green spaces, a lake, children's play areas, cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and mosques.
