Marina Torch Tower is a premium residential project by the developers, Select Group and Khatib&Alami Dubai architectural bureau. This skyscraper has a height of 985 feet (300 meters) and includes 79 floors and a three-level underground parking lot. The tower is one of the five tallest residential buildings in the world. Construction lasted four years and was completed in 2011.

The Emirates Golf Club is a 5-minute drive away, as is the RRA Radel Dubai Sports Center, which features tennis courts and athletic fields.
The popular SkyDive Dubai skydiving center is also a 5-minute drive away.
The Palm Jumeirah is a 10-minute drive away. This is the largest man-made island in the world, there is a famous Aquaventure Waterpark.
Within walking distance of the complex there are three medical clinics: Emirates Hospital Clinics, Marina Medical Center, King`s Marina Medical Centre, as well as Ruffles Marina Nursery.
Within a 10-minute walk there is Dubai Media City Park, which has a pond, gazebos and other recreational areas. There are also various festivals and events.
