Uptown Dubai is a new business and residential district by the master developer DMCC – the same developer behind JLT. Under DMCC's plan, the district's nine towers will surround The Plaza, a public square that hosts art installations and performances.

The first tower is the 81-storey Uptown Tower, opened in 2023: it has offices, the SO/ Uptown Dubai hotel and branded residences. Two office towers of the second phase, with shops and restaurants, are under construction in the district.

Mercer House by Ellington Properties is under construction in the district – two residential towers on a shared podium with studios, 1- to 3-bedroom apartments and penthouses. According to DMCC, the project plans a beach club with a pool, a separate residents' pool, a sports hall with courts and shops – check what will be included.
